A Funk...

Have you ever been in a funk before? Not wanting to cook, clean, go running, go anywhere, do anything, talk on the phone, read, bath, shave, change diapers etc etc. I'm very much in a funk right now. I have no clue why...just am. I could lay on my couch and watch re-runs of Friends all day in my pj's if my kids would allow it. Guess its a good thing I've got 2 VERY active kids who make it hard for me to lay in my patheticness for too long:) I'm going to blame my funk on the gloomy days and pray for sunshine or snow soon. Seriously. I hate days that are cold and gloomy. If its going to be cold, there should be snow otherwise let the sun shine is what i say. Anyways the couch is calling my name and i only have about 1 hour left to be devoured by it before I'm forced by health codes to shower before i go into work. Hope you are all having a funk free day!

The Grammys!!!

So I'm a huge music fan. It touches me emotionally and it has the power to change my moods instantly. I love watching the Grammys each year but this year was for some reason, AMAZING! Here are afew of my favs for you to watch if you missed out! Oh and one of my "things to do before i die" is go to the Grammys...It will happen, and it will be FREAKING AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh, and one more thing...I was VERY disappointed in Taylor Swifts Performance. SERIOUSLY, she sounds good on the radio, but live she sounds like she has NO singing talent AT ALL! I was VERY board during her performance and was glad when it was over. Although she was very cute accepting her award, i dont think she deserved it. I think if your a singer...you should be able to sing live and sound just as good as on your record. Just my opinion. I'm sure there are many who would disagree:)

A tribute to Micheal Jackson...SO GOOD! They got some AMAZING people to help tribute to MJ. And i LOVE this song too!!! Oh MJ, we miss you and your AMAZINGNESS! (sadly it's partly in 3d so it's kind a funny pic)


PINK!!! My favorite color and one of my FAV singers too!!! I LOVE this song! and i LOVE her performance too! It really got me all teary:) It's a horrible quality video, but its the best i could find.


Andrea Bocelli with Mary J Blige=Chills! Seriously, i got chills during this song!!! I really love Andrea Bocelli and i also love Mary J. The two should make a CD!

Kerris Operation...

Well we packed up the kids and went up to rexburg ID on Wednesday cause my sister kerri had an out of know where gaul bladder surgery. We didnt want her to be alone so we made the 4 hour trip. With lots of movies we made it without any major problems.


Poor kerri got a crazy pain just below her ribs i believe that wouldnt go away and she knew wasnt right so she went to the doc and sure enough she needed to get her gaul bladder removed. (on a previous post i put appendix, cause thats what they thought it was at first) Anyway...She looked pretty miserable the poor girl!


After her surgery she was pretty tired and out of it but feeling better. She was supposed to be released yesterday, but her pancreas is now infected and she is starting to feel pain again. So sadly she is still in the hospital waiting to see whats going on. I had to come home for a work meeting but hopefully she is back on her feet in no time.



Oh, and i have no idea how to spell half of those body parts so sorry if they are wrong:)

Life is Fragile!

I have two people i love who are or will be in the hospital today. My sister just went in cause she was having really bad side pain and it turns out she has appendicitis (sp?) so Cohwen, the kids and i are going up to be with her today (she is in Idaho at school)

Also my BFC (best friend cousin) Erins little boy Isaiah is going in today to have a scope put down his through. EEK! This poor boy has had doc apt after doc apt to try and figure out why he throws up his food and has such a bad reflux. I feel for him and his parents. It cant be easy.

My prayers are with you both...I love you all...and i pray for the best!

Something you might not know about me...

I'm like an onion...I have many layers(thank you shrek) But really, i do. I am not one of those people that meets someone and is instantly friends. I'm actually quite shy and self conscious. It takes me a VERY long time to REALLY become friends with someone. But when i do become true friends with you, odly enough i am VERY outgoing and pretty crazy and even funny at times (i know hard to believe:)I am HORRIBLE at conversations with new people whereas Cohwen is GREAT! I get nervous around new people and they often think i'm a snot...or too good. I am MUCH better at expressing my feeling on paper or blog than in person. I blank when i try to "confront" people and clam up when talking to people of importance. I usually "blow" up instead of "express" my frustrations cause i'm a HORRIBLE communicator. (something i've been working on EXTREMELY hard) and when it comes to public speaking you can just count me out. Especially if its a spur of the moment public thing. NOT GOOD! For example...i was asked to give a talk in Primary when i was 11ish and i brought my non-member friend jenny with me and i got up to give the talk and just started crying and my non-member friend gave the talk for me...Ya, it was pretty embarrassing! Also, i had to memorize a poem in School in grade 5 and when i got up to tell it i just started to tear up again so i sat down and sadly did not pass that assighnemt. So...i have conveniently for me avoided any other major public speaking events and have learned to duck and hide when the finger for the next solo gig is being pointed. Well there you have it. So a few of my layers have been pulled back and you may now know me a little bit better.

Horrible hair cut!

I went and got my hair cut and cried for 3 hours after!!! As u may have read on my previouse post that my hair dressor moved. Well...I decided to venture to a new salon "visions salon" and told her I just wanted the same cut but trimmed up. Sadly my hair stylist did not do my hair justice and I have horribly short boy bangs!!! I really did cry for 3 hours. Cohwen says they are not that bad but I know he is just being nice. The worst part is I can't really get them fixed cause I DONT want them any shorter! Grhhh!!!!! I would post my stylists name to spare anyone from the same doom but I'm nicer than that. Now it's going to take me like a month to frowthem out and get them fixed! It's going to be a month filled with headbands and hats for sure!

Greys Anatomy!

So i have recently become a HUGE greys anatomy fan. I started watching old episods while on maternity and have become and addict. I just today watched part of season 5 and i can NOT stop crying!!!! Are you kidding me!!! It's such an amazingly good drama and i just have to say...i will now be going to the library web site to put the next disc of season 5 on hold. Ahhhh! I just want to go out and buy it so i can watch it all at once!!! Anyway just had to blog about one of my MANY addictions:)
